The wind is proving to be a permanent feature of this years TT season and this Tuesday's Sporting TT was no different. Once again Rob Burns set the early pace with a time of 28:07, while Rob Burns senior showed a substantial improvement on last week to finish just 8 seconds back. Paul Rogers once again set a blistering pace to come in with a time of 26:47. Matt Wedge looked like the only rider capable of beating Paul but had to settle for second place at +1:08. Andy Walters was nearly a minute faster than the previous week, taking a well deserved handicap win. Well done to Dilys Stockton and Josh Burke, both riding the event for the first time and taking the prizes for fastest Lady and fastest Junior respectively. The biggest surprise of the night came from Mike Williams of Fred Williams cycles who according to the start sheet is only 12 years old! His time of 30:53 was enough for him to claim the prize for the fastest Youth rider.
