First things first, apologies for the lack of updates! The Walsall Roads website hadn't been updated with the results of the 25's until this week, the most significant outcome of these is Paul Horton missing one of the events and potentially conceding defeat in the Time Trial League. Anyway, back to this week and a return to the Hilly course at Halfpenny Green. Matt Nicholls was completely dominant finishing in 50:56, over 3 minutes ahead of nearest rival Rob Burns Jnr, with Bryan Healy of Stourbridge Velo third at 54:39. Rob Burns Snr was third Wheeler back at 55:25. Paul Horton, again not up to his usual self, threw in the towel crossing the line claiming to have retired, however as he completed the course he still received a time. It is hard to see who can possibly challenge Matt Nicholl's strangle hold at the top of the TT league but the season isn't over yet, anything could happen!

Next week is the last chance for riders to brave the undualtions of the hilly course before a return to 10's for the rest of the season.

Thanks to Alison Cooper for signing in & time keeping.
