Well, after last week and the balmy summer weather, we were today brought back to the reality of a true "summers day".  Riders, spectators and helpers had to contend with wind, rain and winter temps. 
Still, on a brighter note, we all enjoyed a fantastic days racing, thanks to all those brave riders. Unfortunately the wet conditions caused a few falls leaving the track smeared with a fine covering of skin.  We hope all riders who hit the deck have recovered. 
 
We would like to pass on that RayYeomans, Plan B Racing Team, has since been released from hospital after having his broken shoulder blade pinned. We wish you a speedy recovery Ray. 
 
Congratulations to all medal winners in the West Midlands Division Championships.  You treated us all to a great days racing.
